Steel Grain Bins

A grain storage structure constructed of ribbed steel panels approximately 30 inches high and varying lengths. The steel panels are bolted together to form a ring and each ring is then bolted on top of the previous ring until the desired structure height is obtained. The roof is constructed of flat ribbed steel panels with a 5/12 pitch and will have a center fill opening approximately 24 inches in diameter with a removable cover. The roof will have a roof ladder from the edge of the roof to the center. The structure will be situated on a concrete foundation with a concrete floor. The structure will have one (sometimes two) access door(s) with a minimum size of 2 feet by 3 feet. These door openings will always have an inner door to absorb the lateral grain pressure from inside. The structure may or may not have its own unloading equipment. The structure may or may not have an access ladder with safety cage to the roof located on the side wall. Structure diameters can be from 12 to 75 feet, and heights from 12 to 60 feet. Almost all are constructed of galvanized steel and will be silver in color.
